AC/DC : The cult group in concert in 2024, we tell you everything

An event for hard rock and metal fans. The cult group AC/DC announces its big return to France after eight years of absence. Here is the information.

Brian Johnson of AC/DC

A legendary group

Hard rock legends. We owe them in particular the legendary title Highway to Hellor the album Back In Black, best-selling record in the world by a group, and behind Thriller by Michael Jackson. AC DC debuted their very first concert on December 31, 1973 at Checkers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia, where the band originated.

More than fifty years later, and despite major changes (the death of Bon Scott, the first singer in 1980, and that of Malcolm Young – guitarist and co-founder in 1973 of the group with his brother Angus, who died in 2017) , the group that counts more than 200 million record sales in their career is still standing.

This anniversary tour will begin on May 17 in Germany and end on August 17 in Ireland.

The tour is called Power Up, named after their last studio album, which ranked number one in around twenty countries upon its release. Event : Brian Johnson will be good on vocals. He who was affected by hearing problems was confirmed by the group. He will be accompanied by Angus Young on guitar (now the only founding member of the group), Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, and Matt Laug on drums.
