Satoru Gojo’s seiyu victim of a ridiculous cabal in Japan

As reported by our colleagues from CBRit, it all started when the Shukan Bunshuna Japanese tabloid reported obscene words expressed by Nakamura during a live stream. Jokes of a sexual nature were therefore shared on the networks, and the seiyuu then attracted numerous criticisms from certain Internet users.

However, others quickly came to the actor’s defense, explaining that Nakamura’s comments had been taken out of context. Indeed, the quotes in question were taken from a live on the GTA RP server called STGR (or Stogura), being the contraction of “Grand Theft Auto” and “Role Play” (lit.: role-playing game) which consists of playing a character in a virtual universe, in this case in the cult video game from Rockstar Games here. This concept has been particularly popular for several years among content creators worldwide, particularly in France.
Among those who came to Nakamura’s defense were actor and radio personality Ryuki Kajita, better known as Mafia Kajitawho, who has collaborated numerous times with the Gojo interpreter on their YouTube channel Washagana TV and who strongly criticizes the article by Shukan Bunshun. Others also accused the tabloid of simply trying to discredit Seiyu.
